I listed this set of beads on Ebay today. I wish the photo did them all the justice they deserve. They are gorgeous.

Rain, rain, come our way....
Some of you may know we had a hurricane hit our gulf coast today. I was so hoping we would get some kind of rain from it. It has been so hot here. The heat is nearly unbearable when I go to the studio to work. I'm having to limit my time at the torch. I have the a/c running but it doesnt do alot of good when I have the kiln running at nearly 1000 degrees Farenheit and the torch heat inches from my face. Rain would be such a blessing to cool us off a little. The weather forecasters don't think we have much of a chance. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I did get a set of beads made today before I couldn't take the heat any longer. I look forward to taking them out of the kiln tomorrow. They were really pretty going in. I hope they are pretty coming out.....LOL.

It's Monday
It's Monday and time to get back to work. I spent the weekend with my family in San Antonio celebrating my grandsons 16th birthday and my 52nd birthday!!! We had a great time playing at Fiesta Texas.
I did get the opportunity to visit some bead and glass shops while there. I purchased some new goodies that I'm eager to use today.
Little get aways are always so rejuvinating for me. I come back home inspired and ready to get back to the torch.

"Mercury Rising" New Etsy Listing
I have a new Etsy listing. It is for a focal I call "Mercury Rising". You can click on my Etsy store at the bottom of the page to view the listing and for purchasing.
"Sweet & Sassy" on Ebay

The beads are out of the kiln and up on Ebay. I just listed "Sweet & Sassy". These beads took me back to my roots as a beadmaker. I had a great time making them. The colors are great for summer or fall and of course you can never go wrong with pink.....lol.

New Beadies
Ok, I've got a couple of new beads for you. Both of these were made with dichroic glass so they each have the "bling" factor to them. I've got them listed on Etsy. You can find my Etsy store at the bottom of this page.
